I started fly fishing at the age of twelve on the local rivers around Vorarlberg, the westernmost province of Austria. Since 1992 when a friend took me to the world famous "Soca" in Slovenia, I finally became entirely passionate about the world of fly fishing as well as fly tying. Since then I have been spending every minute with this wonderful sport.

I have traveled to many destinations for fly fishing - Slovenia, Croacia, Bosnia, Ireland, Germany,  Switzerland, Egypt, Chile, Mexico, Guatemala and the USA. Especially Idaho, located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains known for it's world famous blue ribbon streams - Henry's Fork, Silver Creek and South Fork of the Snake River, just to name a few...

In my home country of Austria I have fished almost every lake or river that results in my experience and knowledge about these beautiful waters and how to fish them.
